NTPC Bongaigaon’s Contracts and Materials (C&M) Department organized a day-long vendor meet on 23rd December,2022 as a part of vendor relationship program at the Employee Welfare Association Hall of NTPC Bongaigaon.More than 100 vendors attended the meet.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Karunakar Das, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon in presence of Shri Sanjay Pande, GM(FGD), Shri Sanjay Kumar Jha, GM (FM), Shri Arunashis Das, GM (Project), Dr. Ela Chakrabary, CMO.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Karunakar Das, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon spoke on the capacity of NTPC and its future. Shri Karunakar Das spoke on NTPC Bongaigaon’s contribution towards the nation's growth and appreciated the role of its business partners in this journey. He also highlighted the importance of integrity in one's life. Earlier, Shri Prolay Choudhury, AGM (C&M) gave the welcome address where he apprised the vendors on the various initiatives and opportunities at NTPC Bongaigaon.Vendors appreciated the efforts of NTPC Bongaigaon in conducting this vendor meet, where their issues were heard and deliberated by the site management. They were also assured of expeditious resolution of their problems.

During the meet a presentation was also shared where various processes and systems in place for vendors was emphasized. It was also highlighted that two-way communication, integrity, and transparency in business dealings are required for a win-win situation for NTPC Bongaigaon and its Partners in Progress.It was a total interactive session between NTPC & Vendors. Over the years, NTPC Bongaigaon has established a platform for interaction between the Management of NTPC and the working Vendors/Contractors at regular intervals to understand the problems being faced by all the stakeholders and to minimize the roadblocks faced in the execution of contracts/ orders with NTPC.

Shri Paresh Mathur, AGM (TS), Shri Ujjwal Sarkar, DGM (Vigilance), Shri Bhaskar Gupta, DGM (HR) and other HOD's of the Deptt were also present on the occasion.
